Reuters reported today that millions of units of Aqua Dots have been removed from stores because they contain a chemical that turns into the "date rape" drug Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate (aka GHB, fyi) when ingested. In Australia, where the toy is called "Bindeez," a two-year-old boy and 10-year-old girl were hospitalized after swallowing a bunch of the beads. First it was dog food. Then it was toys. And now, well, it's toys yet again. WTF?! If you're curious about the game, here's a breakdown of how it's played; doesn't seem like much fun for what it's worth. Still no GHB-related reviews on Amazon. Care to wager how long that one takes?
