Thanks to the gadget-equipped masses out there the latest trailer for the new J.J. Abrams project has started popping up on YouTube. The clip is showing before Beowulf, which opens today(the first teaser showed before Transformers, boy these guys know their target audience!). For now the quality of the clips is what you'd expect, but after a whole weekend of geeks flocking to theaters there will likely be better versions soon enough. The best part, it looks like the title of the film will actually be - wait for it - Cloverfield. Sigh. But Lord knows I've been a little obsessed with this, much of it misguidedly, so at this point I'm not even counting on there actually even being a film or a real title until I am physically sitting in a theater looking at it. That said, this trailer looks fairly ill. Images of the mysterious monster/whatever-the-crap are also floating around. And a full run-down analysis of the trailer is up on CHUD.com. What say you dear readers?
