When Man vs. Wild star Bear Grylls was accused of cheating and simulating situations during the filming of his survival show over the summer, we were bummed. Bear's informative, inspiring heroics seemed awesome. But as more video evidence surfaces on YouTube, we’re really starting to see just how bogus the show is. The freeze frames at the end of this episode footage point out a life jacket concealed under his sweatshirt. But it gets more interesting. To debunk Bear, some folks are actually revisiting the ‘remote’ locations where the show was filmed (!). Below is one of the worst offenses and the most impressive evidence to date. In August, Bear blogged a brief response to the allegations he checked into a motel while filming: "all I can say is they [episodes] don't always tell the full story". With all this added user-gen evidence, will Bear be forced to offer a more detailed mea culpa? And will haters deconstruct Season 3 with the same gusto as the superfans of an ARG like "Lost"?
