As the latest phase in its bid for world domination, Google has announced a partnership with fueling system supplier Gilbarto Veeder-Root to equip some 3,500 Internet-enabled gas pumps (who even knew there were Internet-enabled gas pumps?) with the new Applause Media System, featuring Google Maps.
