CAMDEN, Maine -- Whether it'll eventually be remembered as the next-gen Furby or the Segway for the juicebox set, Ugobe's baby robot dinosaur Pleo is certainly poised to become the gotta-have toy of the 2007 Holiday season. (And its $350 price tag is poised to become the "Nah-uh you don't" parental moment of the year.)
Wired has covered Pleo before (and before and before and before). So we won't delve into what's been said previously, other than to note that Pleo's creator (and Furby's for that matter) Caleb Chung presented a Pleo demo at PopTech today that, in all its h4x0r-ready robotic goodness, gave convention-goers the day's helping of gadget-geek porn.

Bottom photo: Chung... er... points to Pleo's USB port, as fellow panelists Jessica Hagy, John Shearer and Sheila Kennedy look on.
