The behemoth above is a 4.5 meter (14.7 feet) tall Transformer. Put together over three months by three friends from Nanjing, China, the X2 is based on a Citroen C2. No original car parts were used: everything is scratch built from raw material.
The team based the X2 on Bumblebee, although as the original Bumblebee was a VW Beetle, and the new movie version was a Camaro, we can only surmise that the color is based on Bumblebee. The giant robot doesn't transform, but it does strike fear and awe into children (see the picture below).
The team plan to keep building robots. Next up? Atlas:
