So you say you're fed up with the social networking rat race of sites like MySpace and Facebook? Take heart, according to a new report, "death networking" is all the rage for those interested in grieving Web 2.0-style. Leading havens for this rather somber corner of social media include AlwaysRemembered and GoneTooSoon (13,000 members, and adding 100 new members a day). At first glance death networking might seem like a gimmick, but with millions of older Internet users spread across dozens of social networking sites, the need for a resource that addresses what happens when someone stops updating their webpage is actually under-served.
