Weeks ago, in an attempt to find out if the site was real, we sent out an open call to participants in the Digg gaming site SubvertAndProfit (full details here) to tell us about their experiences. Last night we hit paydirt when a former SubvertAndProfit agent sent us a screen shot of an email from the site.

The email subject line reads, "Subvert And Profit: we have a task for you." Not only is message dramatically cryptic (think "Mission Impossible"), but it actually mentions a Digg story in need of manipulating. While this isn't proof of the site's actions, it's an interesting peek into the way SubvertAndProfit is interacting with social news participants. If you have a SubvertAndProfit story to tell, please let us know.
