I was in New York City last week for a friend's wedding and found an afternoon to go to the American Museum of Natural History, or as my buddy Bob in Brooklyn likes to call it, The Natty Hist.
I didn't take a ton of photos...and many that I did didn't turn out. But here are few anyway.
Here's what you see when you walk in the front entrance on Central Park West.
The large sphere is the Hayden Planetarium...around the outside they have a wonderful exhibit talking about scales, going from universe scale (10^28) to atomic (10^-18). Very cool.
This is only one tiny part of a giant wall in the Hall of Biodiversity.
The mineral collection is unbelievable.
And finally...a shot of some brownstones in Brooklyn.
I love going to New York...I look forward to the next time.
