Last week Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was virtually tarred and feathered when UK music site Contact Music dropped a rumor that Woz was dating not-so-hot comedienne Kathy Griffin (pictured right). The story got picked up by numerous blogs, but we remained skeptical. Now it turns out that the masters of gossip, Page Six, have revealed that the two have never even met.
In fact, reading the update, the whole thing (a future ‘date’ planned by public relations reps) seems so staged it’s likely this is more about business than anything worth getting your geek-knickers in a twist over. For now, it appears the patron saint of the Mac is safe from the corrupting hand of Hollywood.
