Today, we've replaced nature with technology with gadgets like the Clocky - an alarm clock fitted with oversized racer wheels that zips away when you try to turn it off. Modern living solutions for the lazy, right? Clocky obviously underestimates my lethargy. When the grating alarm sounded at 6am Monday morning, instead of jumping up and chasing the gadget around my bedroom, I simply tossed a heavy sweatshirt over it to muffle the screech. Haha man beats robot! But could I go back to sleep afterwards? Heck no. Looks like technology wins the day after all.
