The UK's Rokit Science had introduced the Boom Borda ($463), an "eco-friendly" motorized skateboard. While it's fair to argue that all skateboards are easy on the environment given their mode of power, not all of them can propel you up to 25mph. The Boom Borda can, thanks to a 400-Watt electric motor, digital handheld radio pistol grip controller and on-board rechargeable batteries that will give you 15 miles on a single charge. Mercifully, the board also features ABS style brakes. As for staying upright as you fly down city streets, well, that's up to you.
