Over the weekend videogame designer and co-founder of Persuasive Games Ian Bogost confirmed the rumors swirling around Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson’s recent "Colbert Report" taping. The segment hasn’t aired yet, but according to reports, Branson, frustrated that the quick-witted comedian wouldn’t let him properly plug his new Virgin American venture, got up and dumped a pitcher of water on Stephen Colbert’s head.
The entrepreneur’s flash of anger was completely unscripted, but Colbert (always ready for an unruly guest) retaliated by pouring a bit of water on Branson’s fabulous ‘80s coif. The segment is scheduled to air August 22, but in the meantime here’s a shot of the publicity hungry mogul mugging for the camera with Mrs. Google Anne Wojcicki (aka Sergey Brin’s wife).
