Sen. John McCainwill be speaking with my former employer Tony Perkins this afternoon at Stanford at the Stanford Summit. McCain will be talking to the founder of the AlwaysOn Network in front a bunch of influential business people and techies.
The senator's views on broadband aren't popular with the proponents of network neutrality, but as a former chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, McCain is extremely well-informed and well-versed in a wide range of complex technology policies such as spectrum allocation, etc. So it should be an interesting afternoon -- for our readers at least.
