I'm done training my brain. Training my eyes is the way to go, I think. With Flash Focus on Nintendo DS I feel that I can develop my eyesight into something super-human. Like an owl, or a cat. Check out the two levels on display at PAX:

Eye Age Check (shown): I determined that my eyeballs, like the rest of me, are in their 20's. I did this by playing an action-packed remix of an eye chart test. As you can see, there's a whole mess of boxes spanning the two screens. Very quickly, those little C things will start appearing. Then, you've got to remember which ones appeared and when. After this, your "eye age" is calculated, although we are promised that the full and robust eye age check in the final version of the game will feature more things.

Training (not shown): A pitcher throws a baseball. You're at home plate. The second the ball reaches a batter's box in front of you, you tap the screen. It's about whether or not you can calculate both timing and location on the screen, because it's measuring when you hit the ball and where you hit it. You're scored, of course, in singles, doubles, triples, and home runs.

I thought I was sick of training games, but not this one. Check it out this October 15.
