In the July issue of Wired magazine, Josh McHugh writes that author Chris Mooney had to recalibrate what he thought he'd write in his new book Storm World: Hurricanes, Politics, and the Battle Over Global Warming. It turned out it wasn't clear that global warming was to blame for hurricanes.
So a conservative website called the PatriotPost decided to take Mooney's quotes completely out of context and suggest he had actually recalibrated his stance on whether humans are to blame for global warming, which he writes on his blog is not at all the case (it's also completely clear in the Wired article). But the PatriotPost also has Al Gore's head pasted on the Pope's body, so we can't take them too terribly seriously.
