While Angelina Jolie has orchestrated photo sales with tabloids in order to raise money for her charities, Pitt is using diva-like behavior to save a mid-century architecture landmark.

One of Pitt's demands for a Japanese jeans commercial was that the ad be filmed at Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's 1950 Farnsworth House located in Plano, Illinois. The request brought in $50,000 to the Landmark Preservation Council of Illinois for four days of on-location shooting.

Built as a weekend retreat for Dr. Edith Farnsworth, the Farnsworth House is one of three residential houses by Mies van der Rohe in the United States.
