Sony has announced its first HD video Walkman, the GV-HD700E. The portable player features a 7-inch fold-down display with 800 x 480 resolution and plays HDV 1080i as well as miniDV tapes. It also boasts iLink and HDMI connections. The HD Walkman will be out in September, with pricing TBA.
