Michael Korn, Alleged Writer of Threatening Letters in Colorado, Speaks

Michael Korn, who University of Colorado professors believe recently sent them threatening letters, returned my phone call earlier today but, alas, I missed the it. He actually didn't say a thing about the letters -- whether he wrote them or whether he intended to be threatening. He focused instead on how bogus evolution is. Here's the extent of his message:

This is Michael Korn. I'm traveling around the west and I don’t really have ready access to the internet at this moment.

I did send you and email in which I expressed to you my main concerns and interests. I strongly urge you to look at the website scienceagainstevolution.org it's written by a very eminent military scientist in southern California who does this website kind of as a hobby and I would urge you to get into contact with him because he's much more of an authority in his field.

But the fact is that the strict teaching of Darwinian evolution is extremely discredited by modern discoveries in biochemistry and physics and many other fields, and this matter needs to be debated honestly and openly which the universities are not willing to do.

In my opinion, Darwinian evolution could be taught in a department of religion or mythology or something like that. But it definitely is not in the permissible boundaries of hard science. So even from a non-religious point of view, Darwinian evolution should be subject to extreme scrutiny and should not be allowed to present its claims without a more balanced perspective such as offered by proponent of intelligent design.
