Last night's debate was pretty slim -- emaciated, actually -- when it came to science and technology topics. Given the candidates' broad general agreement on topics, this wasn't entirely unexpected, although it was still somewhat disappointing.
Combating global warming was the only science-related topic thats received any attention (starting on page 40). Ironically, although each candidate speaks out against global warming, six of the eight candidates took a page from Al Gore by traveling to the debate in a private jet. (Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich were the exceptions.)
