NTT Docomo and am/pm Japan have concocted a way for people to dispose of their old cellphones. The two companies are installing recycling bins at convenience stores throughout Japan, where conscientious souls can discard their handsets when they upgrade to a new model. The bins accept all makes and models and feature a theft-proof design. The move eases the burden for Japan's wireless providers, who until now have been recycling old phones in their own stores.
