Is there anything more alien looking than a wet cat? They look less like felines than slimy intestinal parasites painfully ripped out of the abdomen. It's the eyes that are really telling: invariably, they are either dilated with terror or feral with rage. Cats really don't like water, and feel no compunction about letting you know by shredding all of the flesh off your face when you bring them in for a post-bath cuddle.
