Continuing ToM's Ivan Illych moment, in which I regretfully whisper the names of all the great blogs it has loved in its lifetime, today I'd like to point you out to the excellent Cynical-C blog.
I've never said anything to Chris, but I've always admired his keen eye for the weird and interesting. Not confined to any particular subject matter, his posts touch upon the wide array of interests that grip his eclectic mind. Cynical-C is just as likely to be delivering a daily quote from Robert Green Ingersoll as he is to post about bombs strapped to the backs on cats and unleashed upon the Nazis.
Cynical-C basically approaches blogging less as a medium for commentary than as a human filter for the Internet. He's gained my trust over the last 8 months, not by what he says (which is usually limited to a pithy comment or two, short and to the point), but what he points out. He's one of those bloggers you come to know as much by what he likes as what he says. Cynical-C is a must read.
