Eliza — dispersed somewhere through the Seattle ether — will doubtlessly defenstrate me for co-opting her Noise du Jour rubric with spritely J-Rock, but when the ichorous humours flow (as they do today), I find Kimura Kaela's "Real Life, Real Heart" somehow manages to immediately make the tail end of a rainbow's parabola shoot through my kitchen window.

I know, it's not everyone's cup of tea. But depressed and hung over, this was the only thing that managed to halt the downward trajectory of my frown before it tore my cheeks off.
