Patrick Cates, whom I know in an intarwebby way, has posted the full text of a truly demented children's book about a drinking, drugging horse named Latawnya. Of course, she learns that it's bad to do drugs – but not until after several surpassing strange pages where she smokes and drinks and does drugs. The weird thing about this book is that all the images appear to have been taken straight from a Sam Savitt-type book, until the horses start smoking (above). Of the many reasons to love the webowebs, surely this is one of them: discovering a lost piece of ephemeral antidrug propaganda featuring horses.
