If you can't resist strapping on an imaginary Stratocaster every time your favorite Van Halen song comes up on your music player, you'll want to check out TakaraTomy's Air Guitar. Just a headstock and partial neck, the Air Guitar features chord buttons and an infrared sensor that detects your strumming-hand's motions. You can torment your loved ones via the built-in speaker or plug the device into an eternal amp to really kick out the jams. The Air guitar, which will be available July 25 for $27, comes preloaded with 10 six-string screamers such as Aerosmith's "Walk This Way," Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" and Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water." No word on whether "Stairway to Heaven" is included.
