Gadget Lab's Rob Beschizza is not worshipped enough. Here's what I can tell you about Rob: born a gelid albino, Rob spent his teens as a hard-drinking London hooliga until his soul was tamed in his early twenties: first by the rigid discipline of karate, then by the fruity, sexually-suspect world of Elfquest. Joining an early Elfquest newsgroup, Beschizza met his wife and moved to New Mexico, to become an eccentric recluse from society who only occasionally wanders into town to compete in martial arts competitions against snotty 10 year olds (who invariably pull out the Crane Kick when they're losing, only facilitating their bloody defeat).

Yes, there's a lot to like about Beschizza, especially when he indulges in bizarre little projects like this: a sinister reading of the children's book The Poky Little Puppy. As a commenter on Beschizza's blog aptly notes, "I've never been so terrified of rice pudding."
