Communication from the Mother Ship:
The 30th anniversary of Star Wars is coming up next week, and we want to see your trophies of fanhood (Note: trophies of manhood should not be uploaded)
Any homemade homage to the Star Wars universe, fan art, snapshots of your DIY creations or top collector's item — anything that shows your devotion to this one of a kind phenomenon: if we like it, we'll post it in a front page photo gallery next week. Those submissions we can't use — for example, Princess Leia Gold Bikini Porn — will be passed around the office and licentiously oggled when our bosses aren't around.
We've set up a group on Flickr called Wired News Star Wars Submissions.
All you have to do is join the group and add appropriate photos. Please include a description of the photo and the name you want us to use when crediting the images. Alternatively, you can simply tag your photos with "wirednewsstarwars" and we'll be able to find your submission that way.
Be sure to remove any copyright restrictions on your photos that would prevent us from publishing them on Wired News.
Once you join the Flickr group, feel free to leave comments for us and other users, or suggest photos you think we should include.
