One of my favorite characters from pulp fiction is Fantomas: the evil criminal mastermind of Paris, a thief, sociopath and serial killer who appeared in a series of thirty two novels in a period of 2 years. He's a deliciously vile villain, the kind of guy who will blow up an entire ocean liner just to supply himself with an alibi, or litter a Monte Carlo casino with disembodied human hands moistly lopped off at the wrist.

The books are either unavailable or hard to find, but thanks to Bibi and Google Video, the silent serials based on the shorts are not. The first serial is above, go over to Videos with Bibi to watch two more.
