Marvel editors past and present meet up tonight at New York’s Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art to discuss how titles like Spider-Man, X-Men and The Hulk are edited.
Expect a celebratory, master-of-the-universe mood after Spidey’s boffo box office display this past weekend. Taking part in the discussion are current editor-in chief Joe Quesada, (UPDATE: Quesada has cancelled, but Jim Salicrup, Eddie Berganza, Andy Schmidt and Molly Lazer are also scheduled to appear) long-time Spidey editor and “Superman on the Couch” author Danny Fingeroth, Don McGregor and several other illustrious members of the Marvel Universe.
The panel starts at 6:30 p.m., so it’s probably a good idea to make an early swing by MoCCA (549 Broadway, just below Houston Street), where you can also take in a major Stan Lee retrospective, which runs through July 3.
