Senators will introduce a counterpart to H.R. 2060 (a bill introduced in the House of Representatives to save net radio by charging webcasters a percentage of revenue rather than flat per-song per-listener fees) in the Senate tomorrow, according to a spokesman for SaveNetRadio.
The House bill has gathered nearly 60 cosponsors there out of 435 Representatives. Webcasters and online radio fans will be curious to know whether the companion bill gathers that sort of steam in the Senate, starting tomorrow.
