The Bay Area's Rondo Brothers are one of those groups who don't have a ton of mainstream name recognition, but have made a very successful music career through a steady regiment of touring, networking, and all-around hustling. From producing tracks for nerdcore rapper MC Lars to collaborating with Dan the Automator to remixing acts as varied as The Killers and Rosemary Clooney to scoring ad spots for nearly every major car manufacturer out there, the Rondos have kept themselves more than busy over the past few years.
The prolific, talented duo has a new album out called Seven Minutes to Midnight. It's a nice hodgepodge of electronic music, neo-funk, and indie rock, and will almost certainly appeal to fans of projects like Lovage and Peeping Tom.
