In the late '90s, British post-rock trio Fridge was responsible for some of the most beautifully jarring instrumental music around. Then, each of Fridge's members found success with solo endeavors (Kieran Hebden as glitchy beatmaker Four Tet, AdemIlhan as purveyor of catchy folk-pop, and Sam Jeffers as head of the Worklesshard design firm), and it seemed that the band might have sadly called it a day.
Luckily (and somewhat surprisingly), the group'sback together with an upcoming album – The Sun – that picks up right where things left off six years ago on Fridge's last release. Click below for a taste of the new music and check out the band's site for a few older MP3s.
