• Don't be ridiculous: everyone knows there's no such thing as a >$35 bill.

• I have a lot of fondness for the work of George Romero, but to my mind, this is still the best zombie movie ever made. With Linnea Quigley and the slimiest zombie ever to boot.

• Speaking of Romero, a lot of people love the Dawn of the Dead remake. I'm not one of them, but I'll admit that a cast of a thousand freshman screenwriting class stereotypes plus flesh eating zombies makes for good popcorn watching.

• From cleft-chinned Belgradian steampunk superman Bruce Sterling: "When you like your Georgia peaches deep-fried in anime cosplay."

• I know this is the way of the future, but I really don't want to have to upgrade my furniture.
