Despite the onward march of technology, pen and paper have never gone out of style as far as most journalists are concerned. But, Benjamin Kuhn, the designer of the Newsware Digital Toolkit for Reporters shows that going digital doesn't have to mean a barrage of unnecessary applications. The kit is a trio of wirelessly connected devices: a camera that shoots still photos and video a VoiceStick for recording audio and the NotePad (pictured), a handheld with a double-sided touch display and soft keyboard that features only applications germane to wordslingers.
