I always schedule my dates for Thursday: I find it the most romantic of all the weekdays. My routine of seduction is so oft-repeated it's almost ritualistic. First, I light some candles around the apartment, feeding my date a lovely meal of red wine, pasta and calimari. I talk to her of my exotic voyages, my philosophies, what it is I that I think lies behind the curtain of space and time. Quite frankly, I mesmerize her.
And then, taking her to the couch, I excuse myself to put on some romantic music. And that's when she hears the lush nightmarish chaos of Aklo's Music of the Lovecraft Mythos series: the industrial shrieks, the slithers and gurglings, the screaming of infants. And then, just at the moment when she's reappraising the status of the date and standing up to leave, I appear in the doorway, wearing my black leather Cthulhu mask and huskily demanding a kiss.
Her screams are smothered by my tentacled maw and that's when I partake of her lips... and then her soul!
Why not spend your Cthulhu Cthursday like me? Check out Aklo's two Lovecraft CDs: both the samples and the cover design are top-notch.
