While we think Ledger's fibroblastic face is pretty effing radical on it's own, we love even more the viral marketing campaign behind it. The best part is it's all part of a riddle that still hasn't been solved. The company behind this all this chicanery? 42 Entertainment, the same people who pulled off Alternate Reality Game "ilovebees" for Halo 2. WIRED's own Mary Jane Irwin actually wrote about the company for for our just-released June issue. The fact that WIRED made the article live on the web the exact same day the story of the viral Joker pic broke is pure coincidence. Right?
