Designer Fiona Carswell is boldly trying to accomplish what 35 year's worth of Surgeon General warning labels have largely failed to do: convince people to quit smoking. Banking that visuals speak louder than words, she's created a Smoking Jacket that features a pair of lungs sewn into the front; the smoker is expected to exhale into a valve in the collar, sending the emissions through tubing in to the plastic lungs. Over time, the lungs will darken giving the smoker a graphic depiction of the grim death that awaits them and ideally scare them smoke free.
