Wired blogger Mathew Honan contacted the AACS LA to get their side of the story on the HD DVD key takedown notices. The powerful entertainment and technology consortium's official response to Wired:
The only info on the AACS site related to the "09 F9" caper is a single press release from February that tersely states "an additional key (called a “processing key”) has been published on public websites without authorization." Seems they let the cease-and-desist letters do the talking.
