Words fail me when I contemplate the glorious awful that is "The Doom Comic." Published in 1996, it's sixteen pages of the Doomguy talking to himself -- "I'm the man! I'm superbad!" -- while ripping the spines out of "big-mouthed floating thingies." Thankfully, the good folks at Doomworld have posted the entire book for you to read and enjoy for as long as your brain remains unmelted. Cyb from Doomworld sums up:
Some time in 1996 a couple of guys got together and smoked what wasapparently a large amount of crack and then injected pure heroin intotheir eyes and then proceeded to create what is now known only as 'theDoom comic'.
The great minds behind the comic include names like Michael'Splatter' Stewart, Steve 'Body Bag' Behling, Tom 'Gallows' Grindbergand Edd 'Dead' Fear. The comic actually has two authors, which makes itall the more puzzling because I can't for the life of me comprehend howthis work could possibly require two minds.
