It's been five long weeks since we've had a new episode of Heroes. Those of you who are champing at the bit to find out a little more about what will happen on tomorrow's action-packed return episode are in luck. I've got a few little spoilers for you. First of all, the episode is called .07%, and it will bring us deeper into the mystery that is Linderman (Malcolm McDowell), Nathan's patron and the evil overlord of a shady group of somebodies in Las Vegas. Remember, he's the guy who paid Evil Nikki to have sex with Nathan so he could tape it and bribe the up-and-coming politician. He's also the guy who has been buying up all those future-predicting paintings from Isaac. And, as we discovered last episode, he apparently likes to wear an apron and fool about in the kitchen.
Last we saw, Nathan was confronting Linderman and Hiro was about to do the same by bringing him one of Isaac's paintings. By the end of tomorrow night's episode, Linderman will apparently reveal that he too has special powers and is the head of a secret organization of (anti)heroes. He plans to help Nathan become president, and this can only happen if New York is destroyed in that flaming boom we've been haunted by since the season began.
More minor spoilers: Matt the psychic cop does something non-useless with his powers for once, and manages to save himself and Claire's dad from torture at the hands of the mysterious dude who runs "Primatech Paper." Meanwhile, Peter escapes Sylar's clutches with brain uneaten -- did your really think he would die? -- but apparently will get a bad haircut.
I love the smell of spoilers on a Sunday afternoon. Now I can truly enjoy tomorrow's episode, knowing that cool plot twists are coming my way!
