As Autopia readers know, Ferrari is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a global relay that kicked off in Abu Dhabi and crossed Asia, Australia, and Africa before coming to North America for a Silicon Valley pit stop. On Saturday, New York Yankees Manager Joe Torre welcomed Relay No. 1492 — a 599 GTB Fiorano, Ferrari's newest model — to Yankee Stadium. The 599 GTB Fiorano that welcomed me to the Javits Center is shown above. With an all-aluminum body shell and 611 horses under the hood, the V12-powered two-seater berlinetta has a power-to-weight ratio of less than 5.8 lbs/hp, goes 0-60 in 3.7 seconds, and tops 205 mph. To the best of my knowledge, the woman next to it is no relation to Mr. Torre.
