The Saleen S7 supercar is sex on wheels. With an unbelievable 750 horsepower and 700 lb/ft of torque, this car has a top speed well over 200 mph and is a street racer's dream — doing a quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds and hitting 145 mph by the finish. The S7 goes 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and 0-100 in 5.8. More usefully, it'll go from zero to 100 mph and back to zero in 11.2 seconds — which gives you a decent chance of convincing that highway patrolman that you were never moving at all.

The all-aluminum V8 displaces a terrifying 7 liters and redlines at 6500 rpm. In fact, the only bad news here is the $580,000 price tag. But there's at least a chance your S7 will earn some of that back: Its racing cousin, the S7R, won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2001, set a track record at the 24 Hours of LeMans and took four more championships the same year, and has 50 wins to date.

By the way, that gray car in the background is a Lotus Exige, about which more in a moment.
