Tonight at 7:30 pm PST in LA, the month-long birthday bash for Star Wars kicks off at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. (The official anniversary is May 25.)
The Academy will screen George Lucas' 1977 space opera masterpiece, as part of its Great to Be Nominated series.
