Yajuan's dainty, primping primadonnas are most often clothed in cowprint and couture. They drape themselves over designer cars, dangle from Chanel jewelry, and paddle in seas of eye-searing color. But my favorite quality about the little pixies, aside from their mini-cow companions, are their enormous ears. I find them charming. Cutesy depictions of girleens are immensely common in modern pop and outsider art, but the ears are always ignored in favor of plump lips and sleepy eyes.
