Remember those data sunglasses Tom Cruise wore in Mission Impossible (and probably in a bunch of other futuristic movies)? Ozan Cakmakci showcased his prototype of the info-viewable lenses, which won a $10,000 scholarship from CTIA Wireless for most outstanding entry. The Eyeglass-based display enables consumers to watch multimedia content or view emails and documents, just as one would do on a portable computer or cell phone.

Panda International presented its Panda Leash product line, which gives you the freedom to use and carry your phone without risk of loss or damage (like the wrist strap for Wii remotes). The 5” leash attaches to any wireless device and clips to almost anything worn or carried – and clips to jewelry too, if you wanted to spice it up a bit. The leash stretches easily in use, but stops short of impact if dropped.
