Motogp_logo_2Capcom's been talking quite a bit about how they want to expand into American-oriented game development, and at Gamers' Day they made it a focus of their presentation. The flagship title for this new effort will be MotoGP on the PlayStation 2, and will release this fall.

The MotoGP license has been getting passed around quite a bit, hasn't it? First Namco, then THQ, now Capcom. Capcom's presentation didn't include any gameplay footage or any information about the game at all, really -- just lots of statistics about how popular motorbike racing is in the US, and how 5 billion people watch it, etc.

Other Western-oriented games on the calendar include Talisman and Rocketmen for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, as well as a Phoenix Wright styled game based on the Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law cartoon series.
