Mick Malisic has a side project well worth a mention. He's developing three Internet shows with three separate hosts.
First up: His interview with provocateur Stefan Sagmeister, who seems to be garnering more than his usual buzz these days. (On March 23, he -- along with the crew at Worldchanging.org -- won the Organic Design Award from San Francisco-based Organic Architect, a research think-tank and arch firm, for the Worldchanging Book.)
Malisic's pilot has Sagmeister talking about the doctored Apple 1984 ad, resorting to a pig mobile for news coverage, devising a strategy for making numbers understandable and ranting about just how terrible Verizon is. Oh, and Tibor Kalman as a tough boss and David Byrne as "unusually visual for a musician." It's classic Sagmeister -- no longer surprising, but always thought-provoking.
In the next 10 days or so, Malisic plans to post his next effort in Internet TV.
