In case you thought Tesla Roadsters only took to the road for press releases and Academy Awards ceremonies, the UK's Car Online is here to disabuse you of that notion. The folks at Car snapped this photo near Hethel, England, home of Lotus Cars — which, as you well know, is building the Tesla Roadster, so there's actually no reason to be surprised. In fact, the surprising thing here isn't the Roadster itself, but the paint job — which is, for once, neither red nor black.
