Meret_2The Victorica and Albert Museum’s major spring exhibition, Surreal Things, explores the influence of Surrealism on the worlds of fashion, design, theatre, interiors, film, architecture, and advertising. Over 300 examples are in the exhibit, including a number of famous works by Salvador Dalí. Other works include Meret Oppenheim’s Table with Bird’s Legs (left), Elsa Schiaparelli's 'Skeleton' dress, and a case study of Monkton, the purple and padded Sussex home of the English Surrealist patron Edward James. The exhibit runs from March 29 until July 22.
